These wines come exclusively from the finest vineyards in the "Hugel" estates, and are made in exceptional vintages only. This very fine wine possesses remarkable finesse and elegance. It often develops distinctive "mineral" hints which further underline its exceptional complexity. Harvested at perfect maturity, in the oldest vineyards of the estate, the wines are powerful, although still dry, and require an extensive period of ageing in bottle in order to reach their full potential. 

It reveals its true character when served with a noble fish dish, or shellfish, in a cream or butter sauce.
