2012 Higher Plane The Messenger Cabernet Blend

Totally opaque black dark red colour with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Lifted ripe blackcurrant aromas intermix with notions of earthy tobacco, traces of black olive and bay leaf with some spicy toasted cedar also present. Medium bodied dark cherry and blackcurrant flavours are overlaid by dusty cedar with earthy cigar box, black olive and spice following on. Dryish finish with firm yet integrated tannins. Aftertaste of spice, dusty cedar, dark cherries, blackcurrant, cigar box and black olive.
