2018 Giacomo Fenocchio Barolo Classico DOCG

Although it only carries a generic Barolo classification, this wine is actually from a single hectare vineyard just outside of the Fenocchios’ home cru of Bussia, sitting a bit higher than those vineyards at 350 metres above sea level and planted on sandier, marly soils. Traditionally macerated for 40 days before ageing in large, old Slavonian oak casks for 30 months.
