2020 Higher Plane Forrest Grove Chardonnay

Higher Plane is a family owned vineyard located in the heart of the Margaret River wine region. It was established in 1997 with the planting of the first vines on the Wintarru Road site, in the Forest Grove sub-region.

White gold with a pale green tint in colour. The notes shows notes of spiced pear, red apple, melon & lime which meld with barrel ferment characters of brioche & hazelnut with a hint of vanilla. Silky in texture, poised and invigorating. Citrus, stone fruits and juicy pear flavours are complemented by nutty sourdough & spice notes. Balanced, refreshing acidity rounds out a modern style of Chardonnay. Try it with Pad Thai.
