So many great Aussie producers here, I can not pick a favourite. But if you have never had Grosset Rielsing, you must. Rockford's wines do not have the incredible acid of Grosset, but are more approachable when young.
This is Vine Vale Riesling at its best. Great vintage from a great producer of Vine Vale Riesling.
The sweetness is so restrained it’s barely off-dry (half-dry would be overstating it) and the palate is beautifully balanced.
It’s so irresistibly limey and juicy, that you can’t help but love it straight away.
Great intensity, drive through the palate with a slinky acid profile. JH 93 Pts
This wine is one of Seppelt’s most sought-after whites due to its fruit purity, structure, intensity of flavor and remarkable cellaring potential. TWF 95 pts
Starting to gain a lot of complexity as it ages. Great now, will cellar.
If you want to taste perfectly aged S.A. Riesling, look no further.
The nose is of a rubber ball, petrol, white flowers, and lime. The palate is lemon, minerality, and green apple.
Patience and bottle maturation will reward you with secondary characteristics of honey, marmalade and warm buttered toast.
Another example of an incredible producer making incredible Clare Valley riesling.
Made by wine-making royalty. An incredibly complex and interesting wine for much discussion.
